LOUCOFRUIT is one of the oldest fresh fruit and vegetable export companies in Greece. Since it’s foundation from Nicolaos Loucopoulos on 1965, the company has been in constant development of its export activity.
Management transition to the next family generation took place on 1993 and from then and on the company is progressively investing in both facilities and farm growing.
LOUCOFRUIT, as a family owned company, is keeping the advantage of been flexible and respond swiftly to any abnormalities that might occur during the production process. Company’s main focus and ultimate goal, has been customer’s satisfaction and consistent delivery of high quality end product.
LOUCOFRUIT is considered to be a medium sized company in the Greek fruit sector; however been 100% family controlled and managed, can achieve great performance that can easily match the performance of bigger companies.
” LOUCOFRUIT company, completed an investment of 1.5 m. Euro in 2008 and improved the storage capacity, with the renewal of pre-cooling and storage chambers. Remaining loyal to the principle of continuous development, in 2016, a further investment is planned in new cooling chambers, which increases the storage capacity to 3000 pallets.”
